🍞 Can we please defend carbs for a second?
Carbohydrates have been villainized for YEARS. But here's what the science actually says:
✅ Your brain runs almost exclusively on glucose (a carb!)
✅ Carbs fuel your workouts and daily energy
✅ Whole food carbs feed your gut bacteria
✅ Fibre — yes, that's a carb — keeps your heart healthy
The difference is in the type of carb:
🟢 Oats, sweet potatoes, fruit, legumes = your friends
🔴 White sugar, refined flour, ultra-processed snacks = the real culprits
Don't fear the carb. Choose the right ones.
