Indigenous youth and allies are invited to join the Wolastoq Waves Lacrosse Skills Camp and Stick Making Workshop. From Aug. 18-22, participants aged 5-18 can level up their lacrosse skills and take home a handmade lacrosse stick to continue practicing their techniques. All skills levels welcome!

The Wolastoq Waves are welcoming Ketegaunseebee/Garden River First Nation knowledge keeper Frank Belleau to Wabanaki territory to share the knowledge of building the traditional lacrosse stick from the ash tree.

New this year, the Wolastoq Waves are partnering with the Woodstock Warriors to offer a fun and inclusive lacrosse event for Indigenous Youth and allies from ages 5-18. As part of a week of learning and fun to welcome the Founder's Cup, both local youth and volunteers can sign up below to register, or for more information. For this special event, we are inviting interested youth from across the province to join us in Menahqesk for an age-split, collaborative youth camp, including cultural components and teachings about the origins of the Medicine Game.
