Maybe "chic" isn't the most accurate description... but hear me out.

Your postpartum experience might not look or feel particularly glamorous. It might look like greasy hair, giant underwear, leaky b***s, a baby permanently attached to you and a house that has seen better days.

But being nourished, getting as much rest as possible, receiving warm teas and oil treatments in the comfort of your own home... being supported while becoming a mother is pretty damn chic.
