“So many of the "behaviours" we see are in fact "symptoms" and are not simply due to a lack of love, commitment, or good parenting.”
One of the most powerful parts of speaking with communities is creating space for deeper understanding, shifting perspectives, and having honest conversations about the realities of FASD and brain-based differences.
At this recent training with Quad County Support Services, Angela shared how early assumptions about FASD often miss the complexity behind what families and individuals are truly experiencing—and why greater awareness, education, and inclusive support matter so deeply.
Thank you again to everyone who attended, listened, shared, and engaged in these important conversations.
