Dear Family, Residents and Friends of Sunnyside,

The Saskatchewan Marathon will be passing by Sunnyside on Sunday, May 31, 2026. The event will take place between approximately 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM, and there may be temporary road restrictions and traffic delays in the area during that time.

If you are planning to visit your loved one that day, we encourage you to allow extra travel time and be aware that access routes around Sunnyside may be affected at certain times throughout the morning and early afternoon.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as the community event takes place. Thank you!

Today, 70 petunia flower pots were prepared — one for each resident’s window, along with a few additional locations throughout Sunnyside. These colourful blooms will help brighten our neighbourhoods and bring a little extra joy and beauty to all the residents who calls Sunnyside home.

Dear Family, Residents and Friends of Sunnyside,

This is to let you know that we currently have residents with respiratory symptoms on all three neighbourhoods. Therefore, we have closed the doors to all our neighbourhoods.

All staff and family members must wear a medical mask. Residents should also wear one whenever possible.

To help reduce crowding and minimize the spread of infection, we ask that visits be limited to no more than two visitors at a time. Please also ensure that hand sanitizer is used when entering and leaving Sunnyside.

All neighbourhoods are currently on tray service for meals to help reduce the spread of illness.

If you are feeling unwell for any reason, please do not visit until at least 48 hours after your symptoms have resolved. If you become ill within a few days after visiting Sunnyside, please notify the nursing station at 306-653-1267 ext. 124 as soon as possible so we can monitor your loved one closely.

Our visiting hours remain unchanged and continue to be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., seven days a week. FaceTime visits are also available through our Recreation team. Please call 306-653-1267 ext. 140 to arrange a time, and staff will help set your loved one up with an iPad for the visit.

For updates regarding your loved one, please contact the nursing station at 306-653-1267 ext. 124.

Please share this information with any family members or friends who may be planning to visit Sunnyside.
Take care, everyone.

Dear Family, Residents and Friends of Sunnyside,

This is to inform you that we are currently experiencing a respiratory outbreak in Riverview (rooms in the 100 range). At this time, three residents in that neighbourhood are ill.

Isolation has been set up and we have closed the doors to Riverview. All staff and family entering our neighbourhoods must wear a medical mask.

Riverview is currently on tray service for meals to reduce the spread of the infection.

Please no more than two visitors at a time to avoid crowding and ensure to use hand sanitizer on the way in and out of Sunnyside.

If you are not feeling well due to any illness, please do not visit until 48 hours after your symptoms are over. If you get sick within a few days after visiting Sunnyside please call our nursing station at 306-653-1267 ext 124 ASAP to let us know so we can monitor your loved one.

Our visiting hours remain the same from 9:00am to 8:00pm seven days a week. Face-time visits are available through our Recreation team. Call them at 306-653-1267 ext 140 to arrange a time and they will set your loved one up with an iPad for your visit.
