GEORGE WILSON

George was born in 1924 in the Insinger district, SK. During his school years, he met his life partner Marie Rauliuk. An entrepreneur by nature, he made his first dollar running wolves on horseback, with his two hound dogs by his side.

George and Marie married in 1949. Along with farming and mink ranching, they started a trucking business, which eventually grew into road construction. George was a hard-working man, a pioneer in the road building industry, and was always passionate about helping children in need.

Being born and raised in this great province, George was proud to call Saskatchewan home. His personal hardships and life-changing experiences sparked his need for giving, and TeleMiracle and the Kinsmen Foundation always held a special place in his heart.

Grand-daughter Danielle recalls sitting in the living room with her grandparents, watching Telemiracle on TV and learning the importance of generosity. It warms her heart to know they are both in a better place, watching this moment with proud smiles on their faces and chanting, “ring those phones”!

George passed away in 2019, at the age of 95.
Kinsmen TeleMiracle would like to thank George for his generous gift of $100,000.
