On August 8, SaskAbilities was honoured to be the fundraising recipient of the 3rd Annual Baerg's, Bergs & Burgs Disc Golf Tournament at Harold Tatler Park.

The day featured plenty of laughs, a fun and challenging course for all skill levels (using Berg discs), and a delicious burger lunch from Goblins Grill.

Thank you to Mark Baerg, tournament coordinator, for selecting SaskAbilities as this year's charity of choice and for uniting the disc golf community to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people experiencing disability.

☀️🏄 Last week, participants in SaskAbilities' quality of life day program had an exciting opportunity to try waterskiing and wakeboarding at Josh Dutchak Memorial Park.

A big thank you to Water Ski and Wakeboard Saskatchewan for making this experience possible. Opportunities like these encourage participants to step outside their comfort zones, build confidence, and enjoy new experiences in an inclusive and supportive environment.

Thank you for welcoming SaskAbilities, we had an amazing time and look forward to getting back on the water next year! 💚

On July 22, participants from SaskAbilities' quality of life day program had the opportunity to experience the fun, connection, and excitement of pickleball through a special event at the Saskatoon Field House.

We are grateful for the partnership and support of Easter Seals Canada, Pickleball Canada, and Pickleball Saskatchewan in helping make this experience possible. Together, we are creating opportunities for people experiencing disabilities to try new activities, stay active, and connect with others in welcoming and inclusive environments.

A special thank you to Pickleball Saskatchewan for their commitment to serving underrepresented groups and for sharing the joy of the game through a demonstration and hands-on "try-it" experience. Partnerships like these help break down barriers and make recreation more accessible for everyone.

We look forward to building on this partnership and creating even more opportunities together in the future!
