❤️🍪 Check Out Red Shirt Day in Action! 🍪❤️
To celebrate Red Shirt Day June 3rd, participants from our Quality of Life Day Programs in Fletcher, Jessop, Kilburn, Wellman, and Warman rolled up their sleeves to bake and deliver red cookies and cupcakes to our incredible community partners!
It was a heartfelt way to say thank you while spreading awareness and inclusion throughout our community.
Red Shirt Day of Action for Accessibility and Inclusion, led by Easter Seals Canada, encourages everyone to wear red and show their support for creating a more accessible and inclusive world for people experiencing disability.
At SaskAbilities, moments like these reflect what we’re all about; building connections, celebrating abilities, and fostering communities where everyone belongs.! ❤️

🌟 When barriers are removed, possibilities grow.

This week is National AccessAbility Week, a time to celebrate accessibility, inclusion, and communities where everyone belongs. 💙
Accessibility helps create opportunities. It fosters confidence, encourages connection, and supports people in participating fully in their communities. It allows individuals to pursue their goals, share their talents, and contribute in meaningful ways.

At SaskAbilities, we see the impact of inclusion every day. Through our programs and services, individuals experiencing disability are building skills, pursuing goals, creating connections, and discovering new possibilities.

While progress has been made, there is still important work ahead.
👉 Together, let's continue building inclusive communities where individuals experiencing disability have every opportunity to participate, contribute, and thrive.
