Jaw clenching isn’t always “just stress.”
Clenching can be linked to airway restriction, improper tongue posture, and oral muscle imbalance, especially during sleep. Over time, this can contribute to headaches, jaw pain, tooth wear, and disrupted rest.
Myofunctional therapy focuses on retraining the muscles of the face, tongue, and jaw to support healthier function and more relaxed resting patterns.
