For a long time, I walked around exactly like this.

Smiling. Showing up. Telling everyone I was fine.
Meanwhile, inside, there was grief, heartbreak, anger, loneliness, confusion, and a thousand things I didn't know how to say out loud.

I became really good at carrying storms quietly.
The problem with carrying everything silently is that eventually you forget what you sound like beneath all the noise.

That's how Rising Strong came to be.
Not because I had life figured out. Not because healing is easy. It came from a woman who spent years painting a smile on her face while her heart was begging to be heard. The journal became a place to put down everything I was carrying. The anger. The sadness. The guilt. The questions. The pieces of me I had abandoned just to survive. And something beautiful happened. The more honest I became on paper, the less I had to pretend in real life.

If you're exhausted from being "the strong one," maybe it's time to stop painting the smile on.
Not because you need to fall apart. But because you deserve a safe place to put down the storm.
Sometimes healing doesn't start with a breakthrough.

Sometimes it starts with one honest sentence:
"I'm not as okay as I've been pretending to be."
And that's okay.

That's where finding yourself again begins. 💕✨️

Plot twist:
the person ruining my life the most for a while… was me accepting bare minimum bu****it.

So I started healing.

Which mostly looked like:
crying, journaling, overthinking, drinking water, and pretending I was mentally stable for 3 business days at a time. 😂

That’s literally why I created Rising Strong.

Not because I had life figured out…
but because I was tired of abandoning myself just to survive other people.

My whole life was completely falling apart around me.

And honestly?
A big part of it was because I finally stopped accepting being treated in ways that were slowly destroying me.

That kind of pain changes you.

I hit a point where I was drowning myself in alcohol just trying to cope with my feelings.
Turns out tequila is not a licensed therapist. Who knew? 😅

And no matter how much I tried to numb everything…
the hurt was still sitting there like:
“hey babe, we should unpack this.” 🙃

So eventually I did.

I cried.
I journaled.
I felt the sh*tty emotions instead of running from them.
I stopped abandoning myself just to keep other people comfortable.

That’s where Rising Strong came from.

Not from some perfectly healed version of me sitting on a mountain meditating under the moonlight…

But from the version of me ugly crying in hoodies, mentally fighting demons, overthinking text messages, and trying to rebuild herself from absolute emotional chaos. 😂

This journal is honest.
It’s raw.
It walks you through the heartbreak, the self-worth struggles, the people pleasing, the exhaustion, and learning how to finally put yourself first without feeling guilty for it.

Because healing isn’t always pretty and spiritual.

Sometimes healing is:
• crying in your car
• blocking someone for the 14th time
• drinking water instead of wine for once
• and realizing maybe you deserved better all along 😅

You’ve made it this far… and that matters.
Today, I want you to stand in front of the mirror
and say this out loud:
“I am enough exactly as I am.”
Say it once.
Say it twice.
Say it until it feels even slightly real.
Shoulders back.
Look yourself in the eyes.
Let it land.
This is where the shift starts.

Day 4.

Now that you’ve noticed the thoughts…
we’re going to shift them.
Next time you catch yourself thinking something like:
“I look tired”
“I don’t like this”
“That’s not good enough”

Pause.
And gently flip it.
“I’m doing my best”
“I’m allowed to be human”
“I’m still worthy”
It doesn’t have to feel perfect.
It just has to be different.
