So… here’s a little behind-the-scenes of the behind-the-scenes. We were getting everything ready for our Sunset Reset launch this week when a large tree branch came down right onto our event space.

And honestly, it felt like the perfect reminder of why I created the Reset Lounge in the first place.

Stress doesn’t usually announce itself. It just shows up. A change of plans. An unexpected challenge. A tree falling out of the sky.

The goal isn’t to avoid stress. It’s to learn how to regulate ourselves when it arrives.

So we’re clearing it up, taking a breath, adjusting the plan, and carrying on. And that’s exactly what we’re helping people learn to do through the Reset Lounge!

Testing details, working out recipes, and getting excited for our very first Sunset Reset. 🌿

Today it’s lavender shortbread cookies. Next week it’s sunsets, reflection, connection, and the official launch of The Reset Lounge.

We’re putting the finishing touches on an experience designed to help people slow down, take a breath, and reconnect with themselves and others.

Sometimes the smallest details create the most meaningful experiences. ✨

✨ We can’t wait to share the Reset Lounge with you this summer. ✨

What began as a vintage Boler trailer and a simple idea has grown into a unique wellness experience designed to help people pause, breathe, reflect, and reconnect.

The Reset Lounge is a cozy, welcoming space where guests can step away from the noise of everyday life and enjoy a few moments dedicated entirely to themselves. Through guided reflection, journaling prompts, aromatherapy, mindfulness activities, meaningful conversation, and creative experiences, our goal is simple: to create opportunities for people to reset.

Whether we’re parked at a winery, community event, workplace, retreat, festival, or lakeside gathering, the intention remains the same, to offer a gentle reminder that wellness doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes all it takes is a few intentional minutes to create meaningful change.

Seeing the excitement from our master’s students as they explored the space for the first time reminded me why we started this journey in the first place.

We are so grateful for everyone who has supported this vision and we can’t wait to welcome you into the Reset Lounge this summer. 🌅💙

There I was…

Sitting on the porch, enjoying a rare moment of complete peace and quiet, soaking up the morning.

Then suddenly…

“Hey Girl! Whatcha doin?”

One fluffy Bernedoodle later, my relaxing moment looked a little different than I had planned.

Life is funny that way.

We don’t always know what’s coming next. We create plans, set goals, and imagine how the future will unfold. Then something unexpected shows up and changes the picture entirely.

Sometimes it’s a challenge.

Sometimes it’s a detour.

And sometimes it’s the next best chapter; one you never could have written or imagined for yourself.

So don’t get too attached to the exact path.

Stay open.

Stay curious.

Stay enthusiastic about what you’re creating through the choices, habits, and small actions you take every day.

Your future is being written right now, one decision at a time.

And quite often, it turns out even better than you planned. ✨

Imagine opening your inbox this summer and seeing an automatic reply that says:

Out of Office.

Not because you’re sick.
Not because you’ve hit a wall.
Not because your body finally forced you to stop.

But because you intentionally chose rest.

One of the things I hear most often from clients experiencing burnout is, “I kept telling myself I’d slow down after this project, after this deadline, after this season.”

Yet somehow the finish line keeps moving.

Burnout doesn’t usually happen because of one difficult day. It happens when we spend too many days, weeks, months, and years ignoring our need for rest, recovery, connection, and joy.

This summer, I want to encourage you to consider a different question:

What if rest wasn’t something you earned after exhaustion?
What if it was something you prioritized before burnout arrived?

Whether it’s a week at the lake, a long weekend away, an afternoon with your feet up and your phone off, or simply creating more space in your schedule, recovery matters.

Your nervous system needs downtime.
Your mind needs quiet.
And you deserve moments that aren’t productive.

Sometimes the healthiest thing you can do is set an out-of-office message and mean it.
