I used to teach this little course called, Nature-Based Ritual & Ceremony, as part of an apprenticeship program. I have been thinking a lot about the things that keep us in touch with a connected way of being in the world: Contact with Nature, mindfulness practice, ritual & ceremony, and contact with others on the same path, and have decided to teach it again. It's a lovely course and I would be so pleased if you would join me. It's completely online so there's flexibility to make it work with your busy schedules. I am thrilled and honoured to announce that Ravenwood, The Healing Forest: Indigenous Wisdom, Life Threatening Illness, & Awakening the Heart, has won the prestigious Gold Nautilus Award.

This award is for world changing books and I am humbled to be in the company of previous winners such as Vandana Shiva, Deepak Chopra, Thich Nhat Hahn, the Dalai Lama, and many other change-makers, writers, and thinkers.

The selection is a rigorous 3-tiered process dedicated to recognizing books that radiate the wisdom of care, hope, collaboration, and creativity, and that uphold the values of conscious and restorative Earth practices, wellness, love and beauty, spiritual growth, and positive social change. Of all the awards to win, this is one of which I can be proud.
