A quarter-century of changing what it means to age at home.

In 2001, we set out with a clear vision: to change the home care industry by focusing on more than just clinical tasks. We wanted to prioritize purpose, independence, and the daily moments that make life meaningful. 25 years later, our Happier Aging™ approach continues to set that standard. By simply asking our clients, "What is the one thing you used to love doing that you no longer do?", our caregivers are able to safely integrate their favorite hobbies and adventures back into their routines. Thank you to our teams across our 400+ locations, and to the families who have trusted us with their care since 2001. Here’s to 25 years of Making Lives Better!

It’s easy for life to get quiet when you rely on care every day. For Romeo, this was often the case. But he held a beautiful wish in his heart: he dreamed of seeing a dolphin in real life. His care team knew all about Romeo's dream and decided it was time to make it happen. When they pulled up to the marine park, you could instantly see the pure excitement take over. He sat right by the water's edge, feeding them fish and beaming with joy as he watched the dolphins glide through the water.

Romeo’s story is heartwarming proof that true care goes far beyond delivering a standard routine. It’s about listening intently to what someone truly wants, stepping outside the everyday, and helping them live each day fulfilling the wishes that sit within their heart.

Everyone deserves to feel fulfilled, regardless of their limitations. Experiencing Romeo’s joy right alongside him as he waved to the dolphins is exactly what makes our work so deeply meaningful. That is what Happier Aging® is truly about. It’s listening to what brings someone genuine joy, stepping outside the ordinary, and making dreams, big or small, come true.
