Change is never easy, especially when it means saying goodbye to people who have been such a big part of the Copper Penny family.
Over the next few weeks, we will be saying farewell to two of our talented stylists, Becky and Raya.
Becky began her journey with us as an apprentice, earned her Red Seal while working at Copper Penny, and has spent years building relationships, memories, and plenty of laughs along the way. After much thought, Becky has decided to step away from the salon industry to focus on her family and home life. Being a wife and mom to three busy kids is a full-time job in itself, and right now she feels called to give 100% to that chapter. While we are incredibly happy for her, there have definitely been a few tears shed around here already.
Raya is also one of our Copper Penny originals. Like Becky, she started as an apprentice with us and earned her Red Seal during her time here. We are so proud of her as she takes the exciting leap into business ownership and begins her next adventure working from her own salon space. Her beautiful smile, positive energy, and her lunches will be greatly missed (😂 they smelt so good).
While their paths are taking them in different directions, we want our clients and community to know that these departures come from exciting life changes and new opportunities. We are incredibly grateful for the years, dedication, talent, and friendship both Becky and Raya have shared with our team.
