Medical Office Receptionist / Patient Coordinator

Location: Selkirk Manitoba
Position Type: Part-time
About Us: Meridian Health Centre is a busy, patient-focused clinic dedicated to providing exceptional care. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and reliable Medical Receptionist to join our team and act as the first point of contact for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Greeting patients with a warm, welcoming demeanor.
Managing a high volume of phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries.
Scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments using EMR
Checking patients in and out, updating demographic information, and collecting payments/co-pays.
Managing patient records and ensuring confidentiality (PHIA certification).
Maintaining a clean, organized reception area.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to pick up EMR system quickly
Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent customer service skills.
