Nova Cosmetics will be temporarily closed, which saddens me. Unfortunately, it can't be ignored any longer. My equipment was locked up by the plaza landlord because the owner of Oasis Tanning didn't pay rent, which forced both businesses to close. I haven't heard back from either party and will take the necessary steps to retrieve my items. My apologies for any inconvenience this has caused, and thank you for your understanding.

Everyone loves to be out basking in the beautiful summer sun, but is it okay to also get laser done while soaking up some rays?

If you have direct sun exposure 2 weeks before treatment, using a laser on heat-sensitive and tanned skin can cause hyperpigmentation, burns, and scarring.

After treatment, your skin will be sensitive and will need time to heal. Excessive exposure to UV rays at this time risks damage to your skin.

You can still get out there and have fun in the sun. Just be sure you are applying sun cream with high SPF hourly and avoid prolonged periods when the UV rays are the strongest from 10am-4pm
