Some lips roll inward when the smile activates. If we ignore that and just add volume, the result won’t balance properly.

The May long weekend always feels like the official start of summer. It’s also when I start seeing pigmentation flare.

The first real UV exposure of the season is usually when melasma and sun spots get triggered.

Quick reminder.
Here are 3 places most people miss with SPF:
☀️ Around the eyes
☀️ Along the hairline
☀️ Upper lip

Those are the exact areas I treat most for pigment later in the year.

Long weekend glow is nice. Long-term skin health is better. If you were outside all weekend, today is your reminder to tighten up your SPF routine 🫶

💧 Dehydrated skin = your skin lacks water
Feels tight, makeup separates, and fine lines look sharper.

What helps day to day:
✨ gentle cleanser
✨ hydrate on damp skin, then seal it with moisturizer
☀️ SPF every morning (wind and sun dry you out fast)

Spring can be brutal on your barrier, and more UV exposure can make pigment concerns worse.

What to do day to day:
🧴 SPF every morning (and reapply if you’re outside)
💧 hydrate, then seal it with moisturizer
🫧 avoid over-exfoliating when you’re flaky
🌬️ protect your barrier on windy days
