✨ Sometimes the best memories aren’t part of the original plan.

We were already on our way when we started talking about Mount Rushmore and realized neither of us had ever been there.

So… we decided to drive an extra six hours out of the way.

Would we do it again?

Without a second thought.

Some of our favourite memories have started with one simple question:

I hope I always stay curious.

is letting life surprise me.

Some of my favourite memories weren’t planned.

They came from taking a different road.

Saying yes to something unexpected.

Or simply being open to where life was leading me.

Looking back, I’m grateful that not everything happened the way I thought it would.

✨There was a time when I felt like I had to explain every decision I made.

Why I said no.

Why I changed my mind.

Why I chose a different path.

Over time, I’ve realized that not everything needs an explanation.

Sometimes the most peaceful thing you can do is trust yourself enough to let your choices speak for themselves.

I’m still learning, but I’ve found so much freedom in simply honouring what feels right for me 💚

Maybe that’s something we all need a little more of.

✨ Peace over perfection.

✨ Meaningful conversations over small talk.

✨ Time with the people I love.

✨ Slower mornings and simpler days.

The older I get, the more I realize that a meaningful life isn’t built from having more…

It’s built from appreciating what truly matters.

I’m still learning, still growing, and still becoming—but I like the direction I’m headed. 💚
