Only a few more days left to register for the Pickles for Patients Charity Classic!! Registration closes September 9th and we would love to see you there!!

Meet your Team Shoreline competition...Krista Young is our Executive Assistant. She took up pickleball this year to have fun and make new friends. Krista is known to "bring the laughter" to their practices and games. She is looking forward to playing her first tournament at the Pickles for Patients event.

The tournament will take place at the Centennial Park Multi Sport Box. This one-of-a-kind facility lets you play outside with all the benefits of an indoor facility including reduced wind factor and glare mitigation!

The tournament features DUPR and non-DUPR rated categories for all ages and experience levels. Funds raised through this event will help sustain and grow the services Shoreline provides that fall outside regular public funding but are essential to primary healthcare on the Saanich Peninsula, including recruitment and retention of primary care providers, unfunded costs to support hospital and team-based care, facility and equipment upgrades, and critical counselling and support services for youth.

Reminder - Our Youth Clinic Open House is tonight from 6:00pm-7:30pm at our Sidney location, 2A-2379 Bevan Ave.

All members of the public are welcome to come by and learn more about our services regardless of age! Our Youth Clinic offers physician, counselling and sexual health services for youth aged 12-24 on the Peninsula and greater Victoria area. These services are offered free of charge, and youth do not have to be existing Shoreline patients to access the services.

This is a drop-in style event where you can meet some members of the team, ask about our services, and get a feel for the space.

Youth Clinic Services:
• Mental Health counselling
• Physician services
• Gender affirming care
• Sexual Health and reproductive health (birth/bleed control)
• Peer to Peer education
• Drop-in wellness activities such as art clubs.
• Two volunteer streams for youth to develop their leadership skills.
