We often get asked whether we see patients outside of female hormone care.

Yes, yes we do! 🤍

Pediatrics is another area we commonly support in practice. We see little ones as early as the newborn stage.

Have you ever considered consulting a Naturopathic Doctor for your child?

Pregnant... now what? ✨

Seeing that positive pregnancy test is so exciting, but it can also bring a lot of questions.

Here are a few of the first steps we recommend as Naturopathic Doctors:

1️⃣ Thinking about a midwife? Apply right away!
It may seem early, but midwifery practices often fill up quickly. It is best to apply as soon as you know you’re pregnant.

2️⃣ Contact your family doctor or primary care provider.
They can arrange any necessary blood work and requisition ultrasounds.

3️⃣ Book a Naturopathic visit.
We’ll review your supplements (including what to continue, stop, or add), discuss common pregnancy symptoms, go over red flags to watch for, talk about what to expect throughout your pregnancy, and answer all of your questions. Our goal is to support you every step of the way and complement your prenatal care.

Pregnancy is an exciting journey, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. 🤍

Have questions? We’d love to help! Booking link in bio.

Do your benefits reset in September? 🗓️

If your extended health benefits reset next month, now is the perfect time to make the most of them before they expire.

It’s also a great opportunity to get ahead of the busy fall season by setting health goals and building sustainable habits before the school routine begins.

We’d love to support you on your health journey. 🤍

When was the last time you had blood work? 🩸

As Naturopathic Doctors, we often use blood work to help uncover what’s going on beneath the surface. Many health conditions can present with very similar symptoms, and lab testing helps us identify the root cause so we can create a treatment plan that’s tailored to you.

Did you know we can requisition blood work?

We can order many blood tests. Since OHIP does not cover Naturopathic Doctors in Ontario, blood work ordered through us is not covered by OHIP. However, some insurance plans may cover it.

Already have recent blood work from another healthcare provider? Great! We can review those results and incorporate them into your treatment plan as well.

What to Expect For Your Naturopathic Appointments

First Visit
This is our longest appointment (up to 75 minutes), so we can get to know you. We’ll take a deep dive into your health history, current concerns, lifestyle, and goals to understand the bigger picture and uncover the root cause of your symptoms.

Second Visit:
This 45-minute appointment is where we review your lab results (if applicable), answer your questions, and create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your health goals.

Follow-up Visits:
These visits can range from 30 to 45 minutes. We’ll check in on your progress, celebrate your wins, and adjust your treatment plan as needed. Our goal is to help you feel your best and eventually reach a point where you only need occasional check-ins to maintain your health.

Some of the most common habits we see as Naturopathic Doctors that can affect hormone health✨

👉Chronic stress
👉Not getting enough sun exposure and low vitamin D levels
👉Overexercising and not prioritizing rest
👉Skipping meals or underrating
👉Low protein or nutrient-poor diets
👉Chronic inflammation

Supporting your hormones isn’t just about taking supplements. It also involves addressing the daily habits that may be working against them.
