If you have sciatica, you’ve probably tried this.
You feel that pain running down your leg, so naturally, you think…
‘I need to stretch this out.’
So you stretch your hamstring.
You stretch your back.
You stretch your hips.
And sometimes, the more it bothers you, the harder you try to stretch.
But here’s where I want you to think differently.
If a particular position is reproducing your familiar symptoms, that’s information.
You don’t necessarily need to push harder into that position.
Instead, we want to ask…
What happens if I change the position?
What happens if I change the amount of movement?
What makes the symptoms better?
What makes them worse?
That’s how we start figuring out what your body is actually responding to.
So if you’ve been stretching your sciatic pain over and over again and you’re still dealing with the same problem…
Stop thinking, ‘What else can I stretch?’
Start asking, ‘Why is this movement bothering me in the first place?’
DM us "SCIATICA" to fix the root cause.
