Our wonderful staff and residents at Rosewood Senior Living proudly wore their PINK in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

Together, we stand in support of those fighting breast cancer, celebrate the survivors, and remember those we have lost.

Today, we take time to reflect, remember, learn, and honour the children who never returned home from residential schools, the Survivors, their families, and Indigenous communities across Canada.

At Rosewood Senior Living we believe that learning about our shared history is an important part of building a future rooted in respect, understanding, and reconciliation.

Today, we encourage our residents, families, staff, and community to take a moment to listen, learn, and reflect on the experiences of Indigenous peoples and the ongoing journey toward reconciliation.

Did You Know? Rosewood Offers Exercise Classes Every Week!

At Rosewood, we offer our Residents a variety of different exercise classes throughout the week! These classes are a wonderful way to start the morning by getting our bodies moving, loosening up those muscles, and getting the blood flowing.

Our Residents enjoy staying active, having fun, and encouraging one another along the way! Whether it’s gentle stretching, movement exercises, or something a little more energetic, there’s always an opportunity to get up, get moving, and feel great!
We love seeing our Residents staying active, engaged, and enjoying the benefits of exercise!

A healthy body and a happy heart make for a great start to the day!

Hymn Sing is a Special Part of Residents’ Week!

Our wonderful volunteer, Angus, brings so much joy to our Residents when he comes in and plays the piano for our Hymn Sing.

Our Residents absolutely love gathering together, singing some of their favourite hymns, and enjoying this special time of fellowship and music.

A huge thank you to Angus for sharing his time and talent with us! Your music brings so many smiles to Rosewood.

Labour Day Fun at Rosewood!

Our Residents kicked off Labour Day with a fun afternoon of Trivia on the Patio!

With the sunshine shining and plenty of laughs along the way, our Residents enjoyed testing their knowledge, cheering each other on, and spending time together outdoors.

Celebrating Sandy!

Yesterday, our Staff and Residents gathered to celebrate the last day of our wonderful Life Enrichment Coordinator, Sandy Goodlet.

Sandy has been a cherished part of the Rosewood family for the past few years and has become a familiar and friendly face to our Residents, Families, and Staff.

During her time at Rosewood, Sandy did an amazing job creating meaningful and memorable experiences for our Residents. From organizing activities, entertainment, social events, and outings, she always brought her bubbly personality, caring heart, and infectious enthusiasm to everything she did.

Sandy will certainly be missed by everyone at Rosewood, but we are so excited for her as she begins this next chapter — RETIREMENT!

We wish you all the best, Sandy! And we have a feeling this won't be goodbye… we're sure we'll be seeing you back at Rosewood as a Volunteer!

Thank you, Sandy, for everything you have done for our Residents and for making Rosewood a brighter and happier place. You will be missed!

Another Dance Party at Rosewood! Our residents had an amazing time dancing, smiling, and enjoying some great music!

A huge thank you to BlueJays Sky Band for keeping the party going and entertaining our residents with their fantastic music!

There were lots of smiles, lots of dancing, and so many wonderful memories made!

At Rosewood, there’s always a reason to celebrate!

Our residents absolutely love corn on the cob season, and we were so excited to enjoy a delicious corn roast!
