UPDATE: Thanks to all who inquired. I’ve been able to fill the model call for Saturday. Keep an eye out as there may be other opportunities this month.

Hey everyone. I’m looking for a model, preferably 18-25 years old, who has no permanent jewelry or eyelash extensions with little to no acne/congestion.

Needed for this Saturday, May 2 at kustiM Aesthetics from 1-3pm (approximately) to assist the provincial skills winner in practise. She will be performing a facial.

Islanders are invited to share their feedback on the regulation of cosmetology practices in PEI.

The Hairdressers Act currently regulates hairdressing services and has provided a foundation for the industry for many years. Other cosmetology services such as skincare, nail care, and makeup artistry are not currently covered under the legislation.

The province is reviewing the current legislation to determine whether updates or a new regulatory framework are needed to better reflect the full scope of cosmetology services offered in PEI today.
