The smell in the Forest is intoxicating these days! The sweet smell of the tiny wildflowers and the blossoms on the trees. Add in the heat of the sun, and if you close your eyes and inhaled, you’d swear you were somewhere tropical. How lucky are we to experience this every spring?!? If you have any idea what seeds these are, we would love to know.

This Solstice! Imagine 3 days in the stunning, natural setting of Wintergreen Studios. Be nourished by beautiful meals. Feel enriched, mind, body and soul, through incredible sessions that will include; forest bathing, restorative yoga, Indigenous teachings, hands on herbal learning, mindful meditation and creative play. All while being held in deep connection with the Land and a welcoming community of women.

Whether you’re seeking stillness, inspiration, or reconnection, this is a space to breathe deeply, soften into the moment, and come home to yourself and the Earth.

The Intention
To celebrate the Summer Solstice and lean into the energy and wisdom of the Earth at this potent time of year.
To create a space where women can arrive as they are. Tired, disconnected, curious, joyful... everything is welcome.
To feel the permission to rest, play and explore as much or as little as you want to.
To stir our inner fire, align our hearts and mind and nourish ourselves deeply.
To leave feeling cared for, connected and empowered.

What’s Included
2 nights of accommodations (Friday and Saturday)
Delicious and nourishing seasonal meals and snacks (Friday dinner to Sunday lunch)
10 facilitated sessions
Time and space for rest, reflection, and connection
*Massages will also be available with the amazing Annemarie Payette, RMT. Please let us know if you’d like to book a massage when you register. Payment will be made directly to Annemarie.

I’m excited to introduce another amazing facilitator for this year’s Women’s Retreat! Becca Snowdon is a Yoga instructor and owner of She is passionate about creating spaces where people can connect with themselves, support their wellbeing and show up exactly as they are.

When I asked Becca what she was looking forward to the most about this retreat, here’s what she said “I’m looking forward to being in community and offering a closing practice that allows us to integrate the weekend and gently release what no longer serves us.”

Women will get the chance to experience a relaxing and restorative yoga class with Becca.

I am thrilled to announce the beginning of something new here at The Wild Edge. We are now offering lunch time sessions on Wednesdays at Lake Ontario Park in Kingston!

Midday Sit Spot sessions are a simple and accessible to support your mental health and overall wellbeing through connection to nature.

This ‘Club’ is a place where people can drop in on their lunch break for a dose of guided nature therapy. An intentional pause to unplug, rest and reset in an open and welcoming community. It’s an accessible practice suitable for all ages and abilities.

Perhaps you’ll come on your own? Perhaps you’ll wrangle a few co-workers or friends to join you? However you show up - know you are welcome - just as you are :)

And the best part? We are offering EVERYONE a FREE 1st session thanks to an Eco Grant from Thanks to this amazing local business and .of.kingston for their support.
