Wildfire Medics Needed – BC
Base Location: Kamloops
We are hiring Seasonal Wildfire Medics for the upcoming 2026 Wildfire Season.
Qualifications:
- First Aid Attendants: Basic, Intermediate, AFA (OFA3) or EMR Licensed and in good standing with BC EMA Licensing.
- Valid CPR/BLS
- Valid S100 and S185
- Clear criminal record,
- Clean driver’s abstract with minimum of BCDL Class 5
- TDG
- Clean Driver’s History
- Ability to Pass a Mandatory Light Fitness Test
- Able to pass Drug & Alcohol Test
- Experience Driving on Forest Service Roads (FSR)
- Live within 4 hours of Kamloops (Preferred)
- Ability to adhere to company's Safety Protocol
- Ability to complete Daily Vehicle/MTC Inspection
- Able to conduct self professionally while on duty
- Able to Follow Simple Instructions.
- Ability to work only within your Scope of Practice

Wage Schedule:
BFA (Driver + Support) $21/Hr
IFA (Driver + Support) $23/Hr
AFA (OFA3): $25 - $28/Hour (Based on Experience)
EMR: $28 - $32/Hour (Based on Experience)
Preference will be given to candidates with fire-line experience, industrial medical experience, and knowledge of WCB standards.
