“I Googled it. It’s a scam.”

Oh because someone on the internet said that?? Must be true.

But here’s the thing… someone quitting because the money didn’t just fall in their lap doesn’t make something a scam.

It’s a business. You have to show up, learn, be consistent and actually build it. Just like any business.

What made me take a closer look was what comes with the investment: the training, mindset work, personal-brand training, mentorship, support, a duplicatable system, and something tangible that I get to keep and use. Even if someone didn’t make money they got something of great value.

No inventory. No cold messaging. No chasing people.

And I’m learning skills that I can use far beyond this business.

So instead of asking, “Is it a scam?”

Maybe the better question is:

“What exactly is the business model—and how are so many people building it successfully?”

Because honestly… that’s the part most people never take the time to understand.

Goldenrod (Solidago canadensis)

Goldenrod is a versatile wild herb traditionally used for the respiratory, urinary, digestive, and inflammatory systems.

Parts used: Flowers, leaves & roots
Harvest: Aerial parts in summer when flowering; roots in early spring or autumn.

Traditional uses:

* Respiratory: Helps reduce excess mucus and supports tissue repair; can be used as a tea, tincture, gargle, or wash for coughs, sore throats, laryngitis, and mouth inflammation.
* Urinary: Traditionally used as a diuretic and kidney tonic. Its anti-inflammatory properties may support the urinary system and are traditionally used for cystitis, urethritis, and kidney stones.
* Digestive: Acts as a carminative, traditionally helping with gas, digestive discomfort, and intestinal weakness.
* Inflammation & pain: Contains quercetin, a powerful antioxidant with natural antihistamine and anti-inflammatory properties. Traditionally used to help ease inflammatory pain, including that associated with arthritis.
* Topical: Leaves can be used as a spit poultice for burns, insect bites, and stings. The root has traditionally been chewed and applied around an irritated tooth and gum.

Ways to use it: Bath, cream, essential oil, hydrosol, liniment, infused oil, ointment, poultice, powder, salve, tea, tincture, or wash.

In the kitchen: Young leaves can be cooked like spinach or added to soups, stews, and stir-fries. Flowers can be added to salads or used to decorate baked goods.

Goldenrod is one of those plants that offers far more than its beautiful yellow flowers suggest.

One person looking at the body as a whole can sometimes see what eight specialists looking at separate parts can’t.

I see this all the time with clients who have been sent from specialist to specialist to specialist.

Months of waiting for appointments.
One diagnosis here. Another prescription there.
One person treating the gut. Another treating the hormones. Another treating the pain.

But nobody is stepping back and asking:

“How are all of these pieces connected?”

Because the body doesn’t work in separate departments.

Your organs, glands, systems, nervous system, nutrition, emotions, and environment are all connected and constantly communicating with each other.

And I firmly believe that everything the body does is for a reason.

A symptom isn’t the enemy that needs to be silenced.

It’s the body communicating with you.

Your body is constantly responding to what is happening in and around you.

What you’re eating.
What you’re putting on your skin.
What you’re breathing in.
How you’re sleeping.
How you’re moving.
What you’re thinking.
The stress you’re carrying.
The emotions you’re experiencing.

Your body is taking all of that information in and trying to adapt, compensate, protect, and maintain balance.

So instead of trying to stop or silence the symptoms, start listening and asking…

What is my body trying to tell me?
What does it need?
What is overwhelming it?
What is it reacting to and why?
What needs to change?

Think of a ship with multiple compartments.

If water starts getting into one compartment and you simply keep mopping up the water without fixing the leak, eventually that water can spread into the other compartments.

Our bodies can be much the same.

We ignore the little signs.
Then another system becomes affected.
Then another symptom appears.

And eventually we’re treating a whole collection of “problems” instead of stepping back and asking what caused the cascade in the first place.

Your body isn’t a collection of unrelated parts.

It’s one beautifully interconnected system that’s constantly trying to keep you in balance, constantly healing and doing its best with what you give it.

So don’t just silence the messenger.

Listen to it.

Ask what it’s trying to tell you. Support it, nourish it and know it is constantly healing.

INSTAGRAM

Your phone can be a distraction… or a tool.

Social media isn’t inherently good or bad.

It’s our relationship with it that matters.

Consume mindlessly → it drains you.
Create intentionally → it can change your life.

Connect. Create. Share. Learn. Build. Reach people around the world. Create income with less time from wherever you choose.

Same tool. Completely different outcome.

Stop asking, “What can I consume?”
Start asking, “What can I create?”

Apparently, there’s a weird rule on the internet…

It’s totally acceptable for a billion-dollar company to advertise to you.

Walmart can show up in your feed.
Amazon can show up in your feed.
Costco can show up in your feed.
Big corporations can spend MILLIONS on advertising and nobody bats an eye.

But let an ordinary person build an online business?

Suddenly it’s:

“Ugh, another person with an online business.”

“Why is everyone trying to make money online?”

“Must be nice…”

😂

Girl. What?

You don’t have to understand someone’s business.
You don’t have to buy anything.
You don’t even have to follow them.

But why are we so quick to look down on an everyday person for trying to build something of their own?

An online business is still a business.

There’s still time invested.
Learning.
Risk.
Failure.
Consistency.
Money invested.
Skills being developed.
And a whole lot of courage to put yourself out there.

The only difference is there may not be a storefront with a sign hanging over the door.

The storefront is the internet.

And honestly, I think it’s pretty damn cool that regular people now have the opportunity to build businesses without needing a million dollars, a fancy office, or someone’s permission to get started.

So if you see someone building online?

You don’t have to cheer them on.

But you don’t have to tear them down either.

Some of us are just building a life that looks a whole lot different than the one we were told we had to settle for.

The next water we’ll dive into is Kangen’s Beauty Water! 😃

This water has a pH of 4.0-6.0 making it a gentle astringent that supports the proper pH level for our skin. This is especially important when you consider that tap water contains harsh chlorine that strips the skin of natural oils essential for hydration. Beauty Water is incredibly effective for the hydration of healthy skin when used to wash, rinse, and tone.

However, this water has applications that go beyond using it directly on your skin, you can also use it as an ingredient when making your own beauty products. You can use it to make shampoo, conditioner, toner and so much more!

Beauty Water💧 is also perfect for making your plants beautiful, healthy and green. Use it to water house plants, giving them the correct pH hydration they need to thrive. Beauty Water can also be used to make an all-natural insecticide when combined with Neem oil.

Not only can it beautify your skin and garden , it can be incredibly useful for your pet care. Avoid the harsh pesticides and make an organic flea and tick treatment using Beauty Water and rose geranium oil. Trying Beauty Water in a spray bottle when grooming your dog to help with tangles and create soft, shiny fur. 😺

There are so many ways to incorporate Beauty Water into your home! If you are interested in learning more about Kangen Beauty Water find out more here:

Want to keep your family healthier through the school year? Start with the basics.

You don’t need a cabinet full of products to support your body.

Eat REAL food.
Cut back on the ultra-processed stuff and give your body actual nutrients to work with.

Ditch the constant sanitizing.
Soap and water are pretty darn effective. Your kids don’t need to be coated in antibacterial chemicals all day long. They break down the bodies first layer of defence and then the chemicals are absorbed into the body and bloodstream adding to the toxic overload.

Get to bed on time.
Sleep isn’t a luxury. It’s when the body gets to work repairing and restoring.

Get outside.
Fresh air. Sunshine. Movement. Every single day.

Move your body.
Your body was designed to move. Movement supports circulation, lymphatic flow and your body’s natural elimination processes.

Because here’s the thing…

Your body is constantly dealing with what you put into it and what you’re exposed to. Those toxins and unwanted crap are eliminated through mucus/phlegm (coughing, sneezing, runny nose), rashes, fever, vomiting, diarrhea ect. And yes you feel yucky, achy while it’s happening.

The less unnecessary stuff you put in, the less your body has to process and eliminate.

You don’t have to do everything perfectly.

Just start giving your body more of what it needs and less of what it doesn’t.

Back to basics.

What’s one of these you could do better this school year?

🌿 PINEAPPLE W**D — DON’T KILL THIS “W**D”!

Also known as wild chamomile, pineapple w**d (Matricaria discoidea) is that little yellow, button-shaped flower you often find growing in driveways, paths and compacted soil.

Crush the flowers and you’ll notice the sweet pineapple-like aroma. 🍍🌼 And those tiny flowers are actually edible!

Traditionally, pineapple w**d has been used for:

• Calming and relaxation
• Occasional digestive upset & cramping
• Supporting the respiratory system during colds
• Soothing inflammation
• Supporting restful sleep
• Topical herbal preparations

🌱 Nutritionally, its value is less about vitamins and minerals and more about its plant compounds. It contains flavonoids, phenolic acids, polyphenols and aromatic compounds that have been studied for antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic and calming properties.

You can use the flowers fresh or dried in tea, salads, infused honey, herbal preparations and more.

So while some people see an annoying w**d…

I see a little piece of free medicine growing right under our feet. 🌿

Just be sure you can positively identify it and harvest only from clean, unsprayed areas.
