Hi Tval customers!
(Ok, this is a long post, but I could have written a novel series!)
So, big news, but many of you already know. After 22 years of downtown retail, we have now permanently closed our shop at 586 Water Street West.
The GREAT news is, you’ll still be able to shop all your favourite products online. Don't worry, we aren't going away!! Quite the opposite, actually.
By focusing fully on online sales across the country, we can streamline inventory and ship/fill orders much faster, with far fewer delays and far fewer sold-out issues. This has been a fairly obvious issue for the last 2 years for Tvål, ever since our move from our previous decade-long location at 151 Water Street.
The disruptions and the following delays in opening up the new store really set us behind with our supply/demand situation. While it's great to be popular, it is never good to get behind, and yet it so commonly happens, and at all levels of business. A thriving business has to meet demand it eventually suffers the consequences.
So we are suspending retail operations at this time, to be able to catch up fast, and finally GROW Tvål again, in new ways!
For example, we will be launching some great new products that we've been developing for years...See, all our growth plans got 'back burnered', because the only focus became catching up first! Even our social media activity had to be completely suspended, while we tried our best to catch up with our existing customers' needs.
Local Pickup is still available! Text me (Bobby) at 709691-1071 anytime during reasonable business hours, and I’ll arrange any time that works for you. I happen to live literally next door to the shop, so it will be easy to arrange.
Alternatively, we can deliver local orders to your door via Uber/UPS/Purolator/Canada Post, etc and we can lower the price threshold: Local orders over $50 will get FREE delivery. Otherwise, there will be a small delivery fee of $10.
Thank you for 22 truly incredible years of loyalty and love-from our first year on Duckwoth St. (2004), second year on Prescott St. for a year, then 3 different locations on water Street over the following 20 years! Of course, we've had our online shop the whole time. Thank you doesn't even say nearly enough! There are no words...We see how much you care about our company and how much you love our products, and we’re genuinely grateful—your support has meant and will always mean everything to us.
We look forward to providing you with the same high quality, fair priced products, and the great customer service that we've built our reputation on. Onwards and upwards to the next chapter in our journey together.
