Due to a change in circumstances, Emma will no longer be available to join The Physio Nook Team.

While we’re sad that this chapter didn’t unfold as planned, we really are grateful for the time and energy she provided in exploring this opportunity together. We wish her nothing but the best in what lies ahead.

🎉Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Emma Bender, Registered Physiotherapist, as she joins The Physio Nook team!

Emma earned her Master of Physical Therapy degree and brings valuable experience in both orthopedic and pelvic floor physiotherapy. Her approach to physiotherapy is holistic and whole-person focused, working alongside her patients as a partner in their care journey. Outside the clinic, Emma is a dedicated figure skater, auntie to her nephew Kayce, sister, daughter, spouse, dog mom, and friend. 

Emma is currently accepting new patients and will be offering evening appointments, with plans to expand her availability in the future.

📣 VOLUNTEER PATIENT MODELS NEEDED

Interested in helping advance pelvic health physiotherapy care in our area?

We’re looking for volunteer patient models to participate in supervised teaching sessions at The Physio Nook. Spots are available next week & June 19th.

You may be a good fit if:�✔️ You are comfortable discussing pelvic health concerns
✔️ You would value feedback about your pelvic floor function, strength, and areas of improvement.�✔️ You are comfortable participating in a teaching environment�✔️ You are open to external and/or internal pelvic assessment techniques (with ongoing consent)

These sessions are supervised by an experienced pelvic health physiotherapist (only 1 registered physiotherapist and 1 supervising physiotherapist will be present).
