Viking sleeve complete!
Thank you so much for your trust and dedication Ryan, driving 3h and doing 2 days in a row a few times and letting me do my thing, trusting the process 🙏
What I love about projects like these: adding subtle elements that are unique to the client without taking away the spotlight from the main theme!
Example: the runes engraved in Valhalla's doors were chosen, as well as the bear headpiece, to mark personal values/stories ♡
◇Side note for those wondering how a sleeve is built:
Every element is either chosen by the client or discussed during the consultation to create a piece that is coherent as well as meaningful for the one wearing it. I enjoy guiding, asking many questions and bringing ideas but prefer having a general theme to start with.
♡The best scenario is to be given a clear main idea and some key elements/personal touches at first and let me create freely from there! The sleeve is fully designed before starting the tattoo sessions to have a clear path but small details and backgrounds of every part are usually addressed the day of the tattoo.
