Gardening season is here, and after a slower winter, your body might be noticing the change 🌿
Hours of kneeling, bending, lifting bags of soil, and reaching can show up as low back tension, sore knees, tight shoulders, or wrist + forearm fatigue. Not because something is wrong, but because your body is being asked to move in ways it hasn't through the colder months.
A few gentle ways to support yourself this season:
-Warm up with a short walk or some easy mobility before you start
-Switch positions often, rather than staying in one spot for an hour
-Bend through your hips and knees, not your lower back
-Use a kneeling pad or low stool to take pressure off the joints
-Take a stretch + water break every 30 minutes or so
If your back is sore for days after, your knees feel stiff getting out of bed, or that shoulder tension keeps lingering, it may be time for some extra support.
Our team at Twh is here for you, reach out anytime to find the right support for your body so you can keep enjoying the garden all season long 🤍
