A little weekend planning from us at Funky Munkys: Coppertop Farm has its Annual Fall Festival coming up near Merigomish.

The listed hours are:
Friday, October 9: 6–8 p.m.
Saturday, October 10: 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
Sunday, October 11: 11 a.m.–4 p.m.

Coat pocket, handbag, desk drawer — lip balm tends to find a home in the places we reach most often.

Our Mint Lip Balm comes in a little 5 g twist-up tube. A straightforward choice if mint is your kind of flavour.

We called this bath bomb Spooky Splasher, then painted a smile on it. That might have undermined the whole “spooky” thing.

Two black eyes, a broad grin and a little curled ghost tail — this one leans towards the friendly side of Halloween.

We make scented beard oils, but we keep an Unscented option in the lineup, too.

If you prefer to leave added fragrance out of your beard routine, this is the one to look for.

The directions on our little 15 mL bottle start with a few drops in your palm. Rub your hands together, then work the oil through your beard, reaching the skin underneath. A fuller beard may need a little more.

One thing I’ve noticed about soap dishes: some have drainage holes, but the bar still sits too low to get clear of the water.

We recommend a draining dish for our handmade bars. Look for one that holds the soap up and lets the water escape underneath, giving the bar a chance to dry between uses.

Next time you pick up your soap, have a look underneath. If it’s sitting in a puddle, the dish could be doing a better job.

This little bar has a job in the laundry room.

Our Laundry Stain Stick is rubbed directly onto a stain before washing. Wet the stained area, rub the stick over it, then wash as usual. Repeat if needed.

One detail to remember: hold off on machine-drying until you’ve removed as much of the stain as possible.

Prefer a shower to a bath? We make shower steamers too.

Those four corners are there for a reason. Break off one piece and hang it in a mesh or organza bag, out of the direct flow of water. You only want the occasional splash bouncing off you to reach it.

With that placement, one corner can easily last for two or more showers. There’s no need to use the whole bar at once.

These are for the shower—not bath bombs.

I call these “salt cakes”—they’re our formed bath soaks, and this yellow one is Manchurian Dragon.

The flower on top can make it look like a bath bomb, but there’s no fizz with this one. It dissolves in the bath and gives the water a little tint.

The second photo shows the thickness underneath all that floral detail.

Frankie gets his eyebrows before he gets his hair. Priorities.

Here’s a little look at the painting table, where our teal Halloween bath bomb gets his face painted by hand. The eyes and nose come together, the grin gets its teeth, and then it’s on to the hair, neck bolts and stitches.

He looks slightly concerned halfway through. By the last photo, he’s sporting that big Frankie grin.

I haven’t done the paperwork yet, so I’m not going to pretend I know which individual product won the weekend.

But from behind the table, one thing was pretty obvious:

Bath bombs had themselves a VERY good Saturday. 😂

We’ll have the actual numbers once everything is counted and entered, but as a category, they were clearly the stars of the show this weekend.
