What does Walk for Roni mean to you? 💙

At Walk for Roni 2026, we had the opportunity to ask a few of our participants this simple question—and their answers reminded us exactly why this walk exists.

For some, it’s about supporting children and families. For others, it’s about community, raising awareness, giving back, or walking in honour of someone close to their heart.

Different answers, but one shared purpose.

Our mission has always been simple: bring people together to make a difference.

This year’s walk united our community in support of the SickKids Heart Transplant Program, raising awareness and critical funds while honouring Roni’s legacy of resilience, compassion, and kindness.

What a day. What a community.

Our 2nd Walk for Roni is officially in the books, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

💙 250+ attendees
🤝 10+ incredible sponsors & community partners
🙌 40+ amazing volunteers
💰 $4,000+ raised so far (and we’re still collecting donations!)

From every participant who walked, every volunteer who gave their time, every sponsor who believed in our mission, and every donation made THANK YOU! You helped create a day filled with hope, resilience, and community, all in support of the Heart Transplant Program at SickKids Hospital.

Walk for Roni 2026 – Event Schedule & Walking Route 🩵

We’re excited to welcome you to Walk for Roni 2026! Here’s everything you need to know before you arrive.

📍 Location: Memorial Park, 2 Park Drive, Whitchurch-Stouffville, ON

🕘 Event Schedule
• 8:45 AM – Participant Check-In Opens
• 9:30 AM – Opening Remarks
• 10:00 AM – Walk Begins
• 11:15 AM – Closing & Thanks
• 11:45 AM – Free BBQ, Entertainment & Community Activities
• 1:30 PM – Raffle Winners Announced
• 2:00 PM – Event Concludes

🚶 Walking Route
Our community will complete the highlighted route twice together for this year’s walk. Please follow the directional arrows and our amazing volunteers stationed throughout the course.

🅿️ Parking
Parking is available in the marked parking lots shown on the route map. Please allow yourself extra time to park and check in before the opening ceremony.

🚧 Please note that a section of the road near the start/finish area will be closed to ensure everyone’s safety.
