Stratford Active Adults offers a wide variety of programs and activities for adults 55+, so this is a great opportunity to stop by, meet the community, and discover everything they have to offer.

A Heads-Up for Stratford Residents 👋

If you’ve seen ads online promising hearing aids — or hearing aid components — for cheap, here’s something important to know: they aren’t actually selling hearing aids.

In Canada, hearing aids are regulated medical devices. Only a licensed hearing healthcare professional can properly assess your hearing and provide one. What’s typically being sold online is just a basic sound amplifier, not the real thing.

So what’s the difference? An amplifier simply makes everything louder — including background noise, traffic, and clutter you don’t want amplified. A real hearing aid is programmed specifically to your hearing loss, boosting the sounds you’re missing while filtering out the ones you’re not. That’s the difference between noise and clarity.

Amplifiers also aren’t fitted to your ear or your hearing profile, so they can actually cause discomfort or even further damage with prolonged use at the wrong volume.

We hosted a BA5 (Business After 5) with the Stratford & District Chamber of Commerce yesterday and we were so pleased with the turn out! It is so nice to meet other Chamber members within our community. We added a lot of new business cards to our community board in the clinic. Shop Local! 💙🧡

Hear ye, Hear ye, Community Hearing Care is celebrating 2 years today! 💙🧡
We have great relationships with our manufacturers who cleaned hearing aids and handed swag out at our Celebration Luncheon. We truly appreciate each patient for supporting our independent clinic!
