Gratitude should be recognized every day but along the way many of us often fall of track in recognizing things to be grateful for. This take a little time each day with the suggestions shared below and improve your gratefulness one day at a time. By months’ end I bet you’ll feel better for it.
September can feel like a big reset. New routines, busy mornings, school pressures, and a lot of feelings that do not always get said out loud.
A small daily moment of gratitude can help children, teens and adults pause and notice what is still good: someone who listened, a place that feels safe, a funny moment, a strength they are proud of, or simply a calm breath.
This is not about pretending everything is perfect. It is about making space for the little things that can steady us when life feels full.
Try asking one simple question at dinner, on the school run, or before bed: “What is one thing you appreciated today?” You might be surprised by what comes up.
