At Whispering Hope Farm, we are proud to offer both Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) and Equine Assisted Therapy (EAT). While both involve meaningful interactions with horses, they are very different services with different goals and levels of support.
š“ Equine Assisted Learning focuses on personal growth, life skills, confidence, communication, emotional awareness, leadership, and connection through experiential activities with horses. These sessions are facilitated by an Equine Specialist and are educational and wellness-based in nature.
šæ Equine Assisted Therapy is a mental health service provided in partnership with a Registered Therapist and an Equine Specialist. These sessions are designed to support individuals experiencing challenges such as anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and mental wellness concerns.
At Whispering Hope Farm, our horses are partners in creating opportunities for connection, reflection, and growth.
Disclaimer:
Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) is not therapy and does not involve a mental health professional. EAL sessions are educational and experiential wellness programs designed to support learning, self-awareness, and personal development.
If you are unsure which service may be the best fit for you or your child, we are always happy to chat and help guide you in the right direction.
