We've been conditioned to judge health with our eyes.
But the human body is far more complex than that.
As a holistic nutrition practitioner, I don't see "fat" or "skinny." I see physiology.
I see blood sugar regulation.
I see digestive function.
I see liver health.
I see the gut microbiome.
I see inflammation.
I see nutrient status.
I see hormones.
I see the nervous system.
Someone living in a larger body may be dealing with insulin resistance, estrogen dominance, or chronic inflammation.
Someone in a smaller body may be struggling with nutrient depletion, poor digestion, chronic stress, or thyroid dysfunction.
True health isn't measured by the number on a scale—it's reflected in how well your body functions.
Can your cells produce energy?
Can your liver process nutrients efficiently?
Is your gut absorbing the vitamins and minerals you eat?
Is your nervous system constantly in survival mode, or does it have the capacity to rest, recover, and repair?
Those are the questions that matter.
The goal shouldn't be to become thinner.
The goal should be to become healthier.
