Breakthrough ADHD Center Get to the root cause of your child's ADHD symptoms and empower them to soar with confidence.

At Breakthrough ADHD Center, we don’t just manage symptoms — we train the hardware of the brain. Led by Dr. Sammy Oh, PhD, DNM — a Doctor of Natural Medicine and Certified Biofeedback Specialist — our approach targets the root of ADHD struggles through science-backed brain training. She leads the team of psychologists, counsellors, naturopaths, nutritionists, and other cognitive and mental health

experts. They work together for one focus: to empower children with ADHD to thrive through life. We specialize in helping families dealing with:

✔️ Constant distractions and unfinished tasks
✔️ Emotional meltdowns and overstimulation
✔️ Impulsivity and restlessness
✔️ Gifted masking and inconsistent performance
✔️ Parent-child stress and daily tension

Our neurofeedback and neurocognitive training programs improve attention, calm and confidence by rewiring how the brain performs — not just how the child behaves. We combine:
✅ Brain-based training (neurofeedback + cognitive workouts)
✅ Family coaching to build structure and follow-through
✅ Measurable progress reviews to track gains

If you’re ready for meaningful, brain-based transformation, message us today to get started.

Children with ADHD are capable, creative, and full of potential. They simply need strategies that align with the way their brain processes time, emotion, and information.

These gentle supports help your child feel more successful and help your home feel more peaceful. When you combine daily tools with brain-based training like neurofeedback, gains often come faster and feel more sustainable.

At Breakthrough ADHD Center, we work with families to strengthen focus, regulation, and confidence using holistic and multidisciplinary care.

If ending screen time, play time, or a favorite activity triggers big reactions, this is a brain regulation issue, not a discipline issue.

Supporting flexibility in the brain can make transitions smoother.

ADHD and anxiety often develop side by side. Sometimes it is genetics. Sometimes it is the stress of managing ADHD without the right supports. Understanding this helps parents respond with compassion, not blame.

At Breakthrough ADHD Center, we use brain-based and holistic approaches to support both focus and emotional regulation. Neurofeedback, cognitive training, functional nutrition, and counselling all work together to help your child feel more in control.

Neurofeedback is one of the simplest ways to help a child’s brain learn healthier patterns. It uses gentle feedback, not force or medication, to help the brain practice staying focused and regulated.

Children who benefit from neurofeedback often struggle with emotional overwhelm, impulsivity, transitions, staying on task, or feeling grounded. Brain training gives them the support they need to feel more in control.

Breakthrough ADHD Center offers neurofeedback as part of a holistic model that includes functional nutrition, cognitive training, and family support.

Neurofeedback teaches the brain how to function in a more regulated, organized, and calm way.

Your child’s brain constantly produces electrical signals called brainwaves. These change depending on their emotional and cognitive state.

During neurofeedback, sensors simply read those signals. Nothing enters the brain.

When your child’s brain moves toward a healthier pattern, the video they are watching plays smoothly. When the brain slips out of that state, the video dims or pauses.

The brain learns from this feedback, just like learning to catch a ball or ride a bike.

Over time, this can support:

• Focus

• Emotional regulation

• Impulse control

• Transitions

• Sleep

• Stress recovery

Neurofeedback has been used for more than 60 years and is cited in clinical literature, including the work of John Demos, who highlights its ability to reduce symptoms by targeting overactive or underactive brain regions.

If this sounds like something your child could benefit from, we can help you explore whether it is the right fit.

Many families see ADHD symptoms intensify during winter. More indoor time. More stimulation. Less movement.

Nature gives the ADHD brain a gentle reset by calming the attention system and reducing stress.

Short outdoor moments make a big impact: morning fresh air, a quick walk after school, sensory play with snow or leaves, or simply looking at trees through a window.

At Breakthrough ADHD Center, we combine holistic strategies like outdoor routines with brain-based care including neurofeedback, functional nutrition, and emotional regulation support.

If your child becomes clingy, irritable, shut down, or overstimulated during holiday outings, you are not imagining it.

These behaviors are common in neurodivergent children when the environment becomes unpredictable or overly stimulating.

Bright lights. Crowded malls. Busy dinners. Scratchy clothes. Loud laughter. Long drives.

For ADHD and ASD brains, these experiences can overload sensory systems and create emotional exhaustion.

Your child is not misbehaving. Their brain is reacting to stress it cannot yet regulate. And your feelings of helplessness are valid.

There is a path toward calmer days. With the right tools and brain-based support, emotional and sensory regulation can improve over time.

Breakthrough ADHD Center helps children strengthen focus, regulation, and confidence through neurofeedback, holistic care, and family guidance.

Nature supports children with ADHD in ways screens and indoor routines cannot.

Green space restores attention, lowers stress, and helps the brain recover from mental fatigue. Even in winter, short outdoor breaks can change the tone of the day.

Ideas that work: scavenger hunts, nature walks, sensory play, outdoor sports, or simply studying near a window with a view of trees.

At Breakthrough ADHD Center, outdoor tools complement our brain-based care such as neurofeedback, cognitive training, functional nutrition, and counselling.
