# Welcome to July!
July is one of the most beautiful months in Nova Scotia. It's a time for family gatherings, beach days, gardening, barbecues, and enjoying the fresh air. While we all enjoy the sunshine, it's important to take a few simple steps to stay healthy during the warmer weather.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, I often remind my clients that staying well doesn't have to be complicated. Drinking plenty of water, eating nutritious meals, wearing sunscreen, and taking breaks in the shade can help prevent dehydration and heat-related illnesses.
For older adults, hot weather can be especially challenging. If you have a family member, neighbour, or friend who lives alone, take a few moments to check in on them. A quick visit or phone call can make a big difference.
If you're managing a chronic condition, recovering from surgery, or need help with medications or wound care, remember that you don't have to do it alone. Cabot Mobile Nursing Care is dedicated to providing compassionate, professional nursing care in the comfort of your home, helping you maintain your health, independence, and quality of life.
Thank you for visiting our website and supporting a locally owned nursing service. Wishing you and your family a safe, healthy, and happy July!
