Will you join me in celebration of the 3 Beautiful Strong Woman who completed the 12 STEPS BACK HOME COURSE ( 12 Weeks )— THEY DID IT!

Today, September 27, 2026, we celebrate something truly special.

12 Steps Back Home — 12 Weeks — COMPLETED!

For 12 weeks, they showed up.
We learned.
We reflected.
We faced things that weren’t always easy.
We allowed ourselves to grow, heal, rebuild and reconnect.

Each step brought us a little closer to ourselves.

From taking those first steps to finding our way through healing, repair, alignment, connection and finally service, we have walked this journey together.

This wasn’t about being perfect.

It was about being willing.

Willing to look within.
Willing to be honest.
Willing to heal.
Willing to make changes.
Willing to keep moving forward, even when the path wasn’t easy.

Today, we celebrate 12 weeks of commitment, growth and showing up for ourselves.

But completion doesn’t mean the journey ends.

It means we now take everything we have learned and LIVE IT.

The next chapter is about putting the 12 Steps Back Home into action in our everyday lives.

I heal.
I grow.
I rebuild.
I align.
I connect.
I serve.
I rise.

Congratulations to everyone who walked these 12 weeks with me.

12 Steps Back Home is complete.

And now…

WE RISE.

How Do I Make My Recovery Work for Me?

I was asked a very interesting question the other day:

“How do I make my recovery work for me and stay sober and free from addiction when it’s all over my town and community?”

My response was simple:

It’s a choice.

Recovery doesn’t mean I have to leave my entire community. It means I have to become intentional about who I surround myself with, where I go, and what I allow back into my life.

I have to choose not to surround myself or associate myself with people who are actively using.

I have to choose to walk away from situations that could put my recovery at risk.

I have to choose people who support the life I am building, rather than people who pull me back toward the life I fought so hard to leave.

And sometimes, choosing recovery means choosing yourself over friendships, relationships, environments, and familiarity.

That doesn’t make you selfish.

It makes you responsible for your recovery.

Nobody can make that choice for me.

I have spent too many years fighting to get free to willingly hand my freedom back.

My recovery is mine.
My choices are mine.
My future is mine.

And every single day, I choose to stay free.

I hope this inspires someone who is struggling to let go of the people, places, and things that continue to hold them back in their chains.

I know how hard it can be to walk away from what is familiar, even when you know it is hurting you.

But sometimes, breaking free means making the difficult choice to let go.

Let go of the people who keep pulling you backward.
Let go of the places that keep you connected to your old life.
Let go of the things that feed your addiction.

Your chains may feel strong, but they can be broken.

You don’t have to remain trapped in the person you used to be.

Choose yourself. Choose your recovery. Choose your freedom.

And then take that first step toward breaking those chains.

If I can do it, you can too.

Tamara
