My journey into holistic wellness began with my own struggles—something I know many of my clients can relate to. Years ago, I battled anxiety, depression, and persistent joint pain that was eventually diagnosed as arthritis. I felt exhausted, frustrated and disconnected from my body. It wasn’t until I started to truly pay attention to how my eating habits impacted my mood, inflammation, and overal

l well-being that I began to heal. As I shifted my focus to whole foods, stress management, and targeted nutritional support, I experienced profound changes—not just in my physical health, but in my energy, mental clarity, and overall quality of life. This realization fueled my passion to help others do the same. Since becoming a Registered Holistic Nutritionist in 2009, I’ve worked with thousands of clients struggling with weight management, stress, digestion, inflammation, and chronic pain—helping them reclaim their health in a way that feels natural and sustainable. But I quickly learned that nutrition alone isn’t always enough, which is why I now consider myself a Holistic Health Coach, offering a comprehensive, multi-modal approach to healing. At Solera, I integrate Live Cell Analysis, Biofeedback Therapy, Infrared Sauna Therapy, and Metabolic Balance®—Europe’s #1 natural weight loss program. Carly is 33… and for years, she was living in a body that felt like it was fighting against her.

She was dealing with Endometriosis—chronic inflammation, pain, and exhaustion that slowly took a toll on everything… including how she saw herself.

After surgery, something incredible happened…

This month, we’re honouring women 🤍
…and bringing attention to something that’s often overlooked:

✨ Bone health.

Because strong bones are NOT built from calcium supplements alone.

In fact, one of the biggest misconceptions I see is women believing they just need “more calcium.”

But bone health is so much more than that.

Bone is living tissue.
It responds to nourishment, movement, hormones, stress, digestion, and overall health.

Here’s what actually matters most:

✨ Protein first
Bone is a protein-mineral structure.

This means:
• adequate protein daily
• regular meals
• enough nourishment overall

Without this foundation, calcium alone cannot do its job properly.

✨ Minerals work together
Calcium is only ONE piece of the puzzle.

Bone health also depends on:
• magnesium
• vitamin D
• vitamin K2
• proper digestion + absorption

More calcium is not always better — especially if the body is stressed, inflamed, or unable to use it properly.

✨ Strength training matters more than most people realize
Walking is wonderful for overall health…

…but bone responds most to resistance and impact.

Cheers to the two incredible women who helped shape the woman I am today… ❤️

This Mother’s Day, I’m feeling especially grateful for my mom (almost 85) and my mother-in-law (almost 86).

Both of these women have influenced my life in ways words could never fully express. Through their strength, wisdom, and example, they taught me the importance of resilience… of surviving hard seasons… and of staying true to myself no matter what life brings.

What I admire most is what they’ve always prioritized:
❤️ Family
❤️ Love
❤️ Laughter
❤️ Joy

They have a beautiful way of making people feel nourished through love, acceptance, warmth, and presence… while also offering strong guidance when it’s needed most.

Their lives remind me that true strength can be both soft and steady.

I feel incredibly lucky to learn from them still.

Happy Mother’s Day to these remarkable women — and to all the mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, mother figures, and nurturers who lead with love every single day. ❤️

At 48, Jessica came to Solera feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, and honestly… just not like herself.

She was dealing with a lot—long COVID, blood sugar imbalances, chronic fatigue, Hashimoto’s, and fatty liver—and was ready to finally get some real answers and support.

We started with the foundation: her nutrition.

Through a personalized plan and coaching, Jessica began to understand what her body actually needed. As she followed her plan, she started noticing changes—not just on paper, but in how she felt day to day. Less pain. More stable energy. And something she hadn’t experienced in a long time… she wasn’t getting sick as often.

So often we think health only comes from discipline, pushing harder to "stay on track", and doing more...more exercise, more calorie deficit...

But healing can also come from simple moments of joy: a walk in the sunshine, laughing with a friend, listening to your favourite music, reading a few pages of a good book, or sitting quietly with your morning coffee.

These small moments help calm the nervous system and bring the body out of survival mode.

And when the body feels safe and supported, energy improves… and weight loss often becomes easier too.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do for your health is simply bring a little more joy into your day. 🌿

Amber came to Solera wanting to feel better in her body again—less inflammation, better sleep, more balanced nutrition, and support with stress.

Like so many of the women I work with, she wasn’t just dealing with one thing… it was everything layered together.

So we took a step back and looked at her health as a whole—emotional, physical, and even spiritual—and decided to focus on calming her nervous system first.

Biofeedback became such a beautiful tool for her.

It gave her space to slow down, to truly rest, and to allow her body to shift out of that constant “go-go-go” state. From there, we started to see things change—not because we forced it, but because her body finally felt safe enough to respond.

Over time, Amber began to feel more clear, more grounded, and more connected to herself. She’s been able to let go of things that were weighing her down and step into a version of herself that feels lighter and more aligned.
