“You cannot take the witch
Out of the woman.
You cannot strip the soul
Out of the sky.
You cannot justify the countless reasons
That you did the things you did,
And we are past the point
Of needing to know why.

For a body cannot claim
What is immortal.
A story does not end
When breathing stops.
The resonance of life
That holds the mystery,
Carries every one of us
You thought you'd lost.

For the witches are returning
And remembering
That the soul of women
Cannot be destroyed,
The awakening accelerating wildly,
Is the coming home
To potency denied.

Because Gaia in her urgency is calling.
Because life knows everything is on the line.
Because evolution calls us to remembering
Who we are
And what lives through us
When we thrive.

So the melody of womanhood
Is rising
The drum of our awakened heart
Is loud
The knowing that we're here to serve
Is healing
The path ahead is one
Of naked love.

So my sisters we are here to raise the dead.
To resurrect outrageous truth and power.
To understand that those that lived within us
Still bring the magic,
The knowing
And the fire.

For alchemy is happening to and through us
As our blood unlocks the keys to natures codes
And our femininity is charged with holding
The restoration of the sacred natural world.”

Hey Witchy Friends,

Let’s talk about what modern-day witchcraft is and isn’t!

Modern-day witchcraft isn’t about devil worship, Hollywood curses, or wild stereotypes… and no, we don’t develop telekinesis or fly (hahaha!). It’s about working with energy, intention, nature, and ancestral wisdom to bring balance, empowerment, and clarity into your life.

What Witchcraft IS:
• Honoring nature and the cycles of the moon and seasons
• Using herbs, crystals, oils, and candles as tools for focus and intention
• Personal empowerment, self-discovery, protection, healing, and manifestation
• Rooted in history, folklore, and spiritual traditions passed down through generations

What Witchcraft ISN’T:
• Evil or satanic — witchcraft predates Christianity by centuries!
• “Just pretend” — it’s as real as prayer, meditation, or ritual
• A way to harm others — real witchcraft is rooted in responsibility and energy awareness. That said, in rare circumstances, when all mundane options are exhausted, some practitioners do choose to send a curse. An unpopular opinion in the metaphysical world, but… I’ll die on this hill if I must.

Why do people struggle to accept it?

For centuries, society demonized witches to suppress folk knowledge, wisdom, and non-Christian traditions. Even today, some call witchcraft “fake” or “evil” while still believing in God, angels, or miracles — all of which are unseen forces, just like witchcraft.

Modern witches are healers, energy workers, and seekers. We walk with awareness of our power and reverence for the natural and spiritual world.

People can have joyful, intense, and transformative experiences practicing modern witchcraft, especially if they feel that traditional religions don’t offer what they’re seeking.

Whether you call it spell work, prayer, or intention-setting, it’s all about connecting to something greater than ourselves.

Thank you for reading this far. I’ve been practicing this spiritual path for over 20 years — almost 30 — and I’m still learning. I’ve learned to trust myself, my intuition, and my beliefs. I’m not here to change anyone’s mind — I’m just glad you’re here, so we can learn together.
