RMTs are trained to listen, ask questions that unearth information that helps customize treatment, and provide safe and effective massage. Every time. RMTs are often able to directly bill their patients’ services because of the liability and care they take on for their patients. This includes a lot of responsibility. This is why it is important to make your own decision about whether you’d like to hire an RMT or a body worker. Every time. I hope this helps you to make an informed decision about whether you are interested in the education and suggestions your RMT can offer or if you are looking for a massage that does not include the specific considerations that an RMT MUST include each and every time a person asks them for a massage.

I work intuitively and am able to provide massage that flows and is a blend of both worlds. Thank you for being in touch if you are curious about how your body is presenting and how its wisdom might be ready to interact with me.

Upon reflection of my experiences visiting both RMTs and those not-registered AND asking people who have visited both for massages as well, I gathered that there is value in explaining how RMTs’ and body workers’ approaches might be different. I hope this helps you decide what kind of massage you’d like. It’s your choice. Every time.
