Sea Wench is uniquely Clayoquot Sound, all natural from a place surrounded by ancient forests, mountains, pristine rivers inhabited by wolves, bears, wild salmon, bald eagles and whales, to name just a minute fraction of the diversity of life found in this area of the Northwest Coast of Vancouver Island, Canada. Through dedication, research, planting, and wild foraging, Sea Wench Naturals has deve
loped a complete body care line for ourselves and for others. It started with soaps and candles, then graduated into producing a local line of healing and nourishing creams, essences and items to serve our community's needs. Due to the popularity of Clayoquot Sound and increased tourism, our products have became sought after by people from all over the world. Still produced in small, personal hand-made batches, the Sea Wench line of cleansing, healing, nourishing and uplifting products includes only natural, non-harmful, environmentally friendly ingredients and processing. Many of the plants and seaweeds used are found growing throughout Clayoquot Sound. Infused herbal oils are made from flowers and leaves immersed in only the finest of oils and ingredients. Not only do we care for and raise many plants, but we care for wildlife and the natural environment in all we do, using labeling and information to promote a global consciousness of good relationship between our Earth, ourselves and all our relations. Clayoquot Sound was the site of some major protests to protect the forests and wildlife over the years and many people who made that happen still care for and work towards a better world for all. This is our purpose, to enhance people's health and well being, to encourage the sustainability of our natural world and to appreciate all that it gives us and to give back.
