Most people are still quite surprised when we tell them that we can prescribe topical acne treatments as Pharmacists and are super happy when they realize how easy it is to get seen by one of us! It is covered by your health card so essentially a free service.

Clearer skin is just that much more accessible these days. 😊

If it is time to replace your old Epipen or you are re-stocking for Back to School 👩‍🏫here is a new option worth considering! We know a lot of people who would be happy to not have to inject themselves (or a loved one) with a needle!

Did you know that if you have a difficult time opening the regular child-proof prescription vials, you could ask for easy open caps instead?

This is typically left as a note on patients who have made this request or suggested by the Pharmacist if they have dexterity difficulties.

My spidey sense 🕸️is telling me that progesterone capsules will soon be on back-order. Brand name Prometrium is still available but we usually see the generics run out before the brand name runs out too.

Hopefully this doesn’t happen but if it does, compounding pharmacies like ours will have you covered.

Wondering if this is a sign that there is a significant swing in the number of women getting treatment for perimenopause and menopause 🤔

Unlike regular prescriptions, compounds are custom made medications. 👩🏻‍🔬

They are an option to get personalized, unique medications that we make using raw ingredients to meet specific treatment needs that are not being addressed by big pharma. 💫

The only thing is if a compound is fairly complex or uncommon, you’d have to anticipate a longer wait time than you would for a regular medication or a common compound.
