📢 Heads-up: DJB's got summer plans! 😎

Hubby & I will be taking a long-awaited anniversary holiday 💕 ~ which means that I will be *𝘂𝗻𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟰𝘁𝗵 - 𝟯𝟭𝘀𝘁, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆.*

🤗 Hi! I'm Doula Jenn B.

Are you new here? -Welcome!

Here's a little bit about me -- including some stuff that seasoned followers might not even know?!......

🔹I'm a birth & postpartum doula
🔹I'm Christian ~ 'New Church', to be precise (not Catholic, not Protestant, somewhere in-between; it's its own branch of Christianity, and no, I'm not surprised if you haven't heard of it), born, raised & chosen for myself
🔹I'm nearly 27 years married to my sweet hubby 💕 We have one son, 19yo, my dream come true (pictured with me above! ☝🏻🥰)
🔹I had a fantastic birth, which is why I want to help moms have fantastic births of their own 💜
🔹I've loved babies since I was knee-high to a grasshopper; when I was little I said to my mom, "When I grow up, I want to be just like you: NOTHING" 😂 -- i.e. not a working woman, a stay-at-home mom! 💗 ~ which I had the pleasure of being for many years
🔹I've lived in Canada (eastern townships of Montréal + western suburb of Toronto), the US (northeastern suburb of Philadelphia) and Australia (southern suburb of Sydney)
🔹I love to travel and have visited.. 12 countries (9 besides Canada, US & Aus), so far?
🔹I love puzzles -- word, number, jigsaw, logic,....
🔹I love to Zentangle ((not really a verb, but oh well))
🔹I love to Zumba (( " " ))
🔹I love languages (je parle français, plus ou moins, + snippets of various other languages), etymology & am an English grammar nerd 🤓
🔹I love emojis 🤣
🔹I love food & am a bit of a health nerd 🥕
🔹I'm taller than you might expect 😄 (just ask prospective clients after I've stood up to greet them!)
🔹 I'm a biker chick 🏍️
🔹 I'm nimble (I've been known to occasionally jump up onto a bed to support a mama in labour..)

"Jenn was a fabulous pre-birth resource, helping me think through decisions, offering knowledge, and being an incredible sounding board. She provided options for natural pain relief during labour which helped to take the edge off (specifically the TENS machine she provided). Highly recommend everyone having a doula, having an experienced birth practitioner at your side during your most vulnerable moments is invaluable! Having her by my side when I brought my second daughter into the world was a huge comfort."
