I’ve seen so many “performance” issues start with unclear expectations, vague job descriptions, mixed messages, or no KPIs. When roles aren’t defined, even excellent employees can struggle.

Outdated systems and messy workflows create constant friction. Double bookings, confusing software, or unclear handoffs set staff up to fail. Streamline processes first.

Burnout and role mismatch are real in aesthetics. Long shifts, emotional labor, and misaligned strengths cause drop in performance. Review workload and consider reshuffling responsibilities.

Sending resumes and not getting callbacks? You’re not alone. Here are common reasons (and quick fixes) .

💫If it reads generic, clinics can’t see how you fit their needs — add keywords like injectables, laser, RPN, patient consultations and highlight relevant treatments.

💫No measurable results. Swap vague duties for numbers: patient retention, treatments per week, revenue contributed, or satisfaction improvements.

💫ATS or formatting issues. Fancy layouts and uncommon file types can break in applicant tracking systems. Use a clean, keyword-rich Word doc or plain text with standard headings.

💫Licenses and certifications aren’t obvious. Make your licenses, aesthetic certificates, device training easy to find near the top.

💫Weak online presence. Hiring managers check Instagram and LinkedIn- keep your profiles professional, current, and compliant with industry guidelines.

✔️Communicate your value with measurable achievements (client retention, certifications, productivity),

✔️Factor in total compensation (benefits, bonuses, schedule flexibility, training) not just the base salary.
