Karen Hand is a Board-Certified Hypnotist, Trainer, Mentor, International Best-Selling author, and World-Class Communicator.

Her 30-year career as a Chicago radio personality was the foundation for using language to exercise the imagination. Karen's transition to Hypnosis re-purposed that skill and since 2005 she has helped thousands of people take control of their lives and trained countless hypnotists and NLPers to help others change for good.

Karen sees clients and conducts training globally via Zoom.

She has received many awards including: Hypnotist of the Year, Educator of the Year and the IMDHA Pen & Quill Award for Literary Excellence.

Meet the CHC2026 Speakers!

Ali Christos is a Toronto, Canada-based speaker, author, coach, Quantum Hypnosis Practitioner, and founder of the Conscious Practitioner Network. He specializes in QHHT, past-life regression, subconscious exploration, Higher Self work, and helping clients navigate the often-subtle inner experiences that arise during hypnosis.

An award-winning public speaker, Ali is especially interested in the intersection between hypnosis, consciousness, analytical thinking, and personal transformation. His work explores why some clients remain highly self-aware during hypnosis, how expectations can interfere with the experience, and how practitioners can help clients recognize imagery, emotion, sensation, intuition, and other forms of subconscious communication without creating unnecessary performance pressure.

Ali works with clients seeking greater clarity, self-understanding, spiritual exploration, and insight into recurring patterns, relationships, purpose, and personal direction. His approach is warm, patient, grounded, and non-dogmatic, with an emphasis on allowing each person’s experience to unfold in its own way.

Meet the CHC2026 Speakers!

Garry Coles is one of only a very small number of hypnotherapists in the UK (and probably Europe) to hold an MSc in Clinical Hypnotherapy.

Garry has helped in excess of 2,000 cancer patients over fourteen years of hypnotherapy experience in an oncological setting where he is the resident hypnotherapist in a major hospital offering hypnotherapy treatment for a myriad of cancer related issues. He has received specialist cancer hospital training. He also spent a year imbedded in the hospital’s Breast Cancer Multidisciplinary Team attending weekly meetings with the surgeons and oncology team to discuss cases and treatments. Garry carried out the first ground breaking UK clinical research project into the effects of pre-surgical hypnotherapy on the recovery quality in breast cancer biopsies. The results were acclaimed and are awaiting publication.

Referred to in the industry as ‘The Hypnotherapist’s Hypnotherapist’ due to the number of hypnotherapists Garry offers treatment, training and mentoring for, Garry also counts numerous Doctors, Psychologists, Psychotherapists and Counsellors amongst his patients (and has taught many of them hypnotherapy) and is seen as the ‘Go To’ hypnotherapist for the more challenging cases from all over the UK (and abroad).

Garry is also one of the few hypnotherapists contracted to the UK National Health Service (NHS) for hypnotherapeutic work, he consults on a regular basis at a major hospital specialising in oncology-based hypnotherapy work. He also practises from within a local GP surgery, with the GP’s referring many of the patients directly. In addition, he receives hospital referrals and referrals from many other local GPs and health care professionals.

Practising as a full-time therapist for many years, Garry has busy private practices in five locations in the South East of England; Farnham and Guildford in Surrey, Odiham and Fleet in Hampshire and the prestigious Harley Street in central London.

Garry was recently elected, for the second time, (by his peers in the industry) to the Hypnotherapy Profession Specific Board (PSB) for the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) in the UK, where he advises the CNHC on all aspects of hypnotherapy governance and training. He was also part of the team of three who formulated the basic UK curriculum for hypnotherapy training.

In 2016 the UK Hypnosis Convention claimed Garry to be amongst the top 30 hypnotherapists in the world!

Garry is in demand as a regular presenter at conferences and conventions all over the world, in addition to presenting his own highly acclaimed masterclasses.

Garry is teaching a one-day pre-conference Hypno-Oncology certification program on October 23rd.

Richard Cole is an award-winning comedy hypnotist, speaker, and coach based in Belleville, Ontario, known professionally as “That Hypnotist Guy.” With nearly 30 years of full-time performance experience, Richard combines his background in comedy, magic, and musical theatre to create high-energy, interactive shows and presentations that captivate audiences across North America.

In 2025, Richard was honored as Hypnotist of the Year at the Canadian Hypnosis Conference, recognizing both his onstage excellence and his contributions to the hypnosis community. He has also delivered presentations at major industry events including the HypnoThoughts Live in Las Vegas and the Keynote presentation at the Performing Hypnosis Summit.

Meet the CHC2026 Speakers!

Daniel Browne (aka The Mind Bender) is a multi-award-winning hypnotherapist, counsellor, and coach. He is based in the UK, works worldwide, and has been in full time private practice for 17 years. Daniel has achieved a Diploma in Hypnotherapy, a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and an Advanced Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. He completes around 100 hours of CPD each year to keep his skills and knowledge up to date.

Daniel specialises in working with LGBTQ+ clients. LGBTQ+ people make up over 90% of his clients. As well as seeing clients at his clinic in Royal Leamington Spa, he works online and in-person globally with many LGBTQ+ people.

As well as working primarily with LGBTQ+ clients, Daniel also dedicates a significant amount of time to educating hypnotists and therapists to help them develop their knowledge, skills, and confidence in working with LGBTQ+ clients.

Daniel is the author of the ‘How to be an LGBT+ Affirmative Therapist’ series of books, as well as 'LGBTSEX' and 'The Self-Care Bible'.

He was named among the most influential LGBTQ+ people in the UK by the Independent, has advised the UK government on mental health policy for LGBTQ+ people, and is a leading authority on working therapeutically with this community.

Benedikte Brantsæter is educated in law with a specialization in conflict resolution and negotiation law, where she also mediates in conflicts. In addition to her education in social anthropology, mental training, and hypnosis, she is a certified yoga, breathwork and meditation teacher, as well as a grief therapist specializing in complicated grief.

With an interdisciplinary approach, Benedikte helps clients rebuild their identity after being exposed to narcissistic relationships, as well as process complex traumas and losses.
