What a beautiful day in the courtyard! Our Fall Festival on Sept 22 was filled with good food, organic plants & herbs, herbal tastings, skincare demos, and so many familiar (and new!) faces. From picking up fall plants and bulbs to grabbing a BBQ burger and discovering new wellness favourites, it was the perfect way to welcome the season 🍂🌿

Unlabeled genetically engineered (genetically modified or GM) pork could be put on the market in Canada at any time. We believe consumers deserve transparency and the ability to make informed choices about the food they purchase.

Health Canada has just approved a gene-edited pig for human consumption but the meat from these genetically engineered (genetically modified or GM) animals will not be labelled for consumers.

That’s why The Big Carrot has signed a pledge, committing to support non-GMO meat and help protect consumer choice. We encourage other butchers, retailers and meat departments to join us by making the same commitment.
