It’s been a while since I last posted here, so I thought it might be a good time to re-introduce myself.
Hi, I’m Sophia — a naturopathic doctor and IBCLC, but most importantly a mom of two kiddos (7 and 4) who keep life busy, loud, and full.
When I’m not in clinic, you’ll probably find me at a live show somewhere. My music taste ranges from Metallica to traditional Ukrainian folk music — I’ve never been great at choosing just one lane.
My practice sits at the intersection of women’s health, breastfeeding support, and infant care. What I love about being both an ND and an IBCLC is being able to look at the full picture. Feeding challenges rarely exist in isolation — they’re connected to hormones, recovery, infant oral function, sleep, nutrition, and the overall health of both mom and baby.
My role is often part clinician, part problem-solver, and sometimes a bit of a guide through a system that can feel overwhelming in the early postpartum weeks.
Whether it’s supporting breastfeeding, working through feeding challenges, or helping women navigate their health through different life stages — this work means a lot to me.
If you’re new here, welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
