I’ve been trying to find the right words for this because I don’t know how to say goodbye to a place that has meant so much to me, and to so many of us.
Top Studio will be permanently closing on August 31.
What started as a little idea grew into something far more meaningful than I ever could have imagined. This studio became a place filled with creativity, laughter, love, vulnerability, and connection. So many of you walked through our doors as clients and, somewhere along the way, became friends.
It was never just about the tattoos or piercings for me. It was about the trust behind them, the stories we shared, the milestones we celebrated, and the people who gave this place its heart.
To everyone who supported us, trusted us, recommended us, or brought in a friend or family member: thank you. Truly. You allowed us to be part of your lives in such a personal and permanent way, and I will never take that lightly.
And to every artist who worked alongside me: thank you for believing in this little project and helping it become what it did. Thank you for everything you taught me, everything you brought into the space, and every piece of yourselves you poured into it. Top Studio became something special because each of you made it special. We were great because you were great.
Canada, you will always hold a very special place in my heart. This country gave me friendships, memories, growth, and a chapter of my life that I will carry with me wherever I go. I know I will always come back, but for now, it’s time for me to go home. And now, all of you have a very good excuse to come visit me in Mexico!
I’m leaving with a full heart. There is sadness, of course, but more than anything, there is so much gratitude.
We’ll remain open until August 31. If you’ve been wanting one last tattoo or piercing with us, we’d love to see you before we close. Existing appointments will continue as planned, and remaining availability will be shared through our usual booking channels.
