Miigwech, Nia:wen, Marcee, Kinanaskomitin, Meduh, Thank you for your interest in participating in our June Crawford Lake trip, we are so excited for you to join us!

This trip we are very honoured to be joined by award-winning Inuk children's author Sarahbeth Holden, who will be guiding us through some Strawberry Teachings as well as holding a book reading of her latest release, "Strawberry Sundaes"! We will also be indulging in a delicious Strawberry brunch - we invite you to bring your feast bundles, and remind folks that lunch will be provided, but to please bring your own snacks!

Sarabeth is an award-winning author and children's writer based in Toronto, ON, and she's Anaana to two inspirational little boys. Together with her husband Sean, owns Red Tape Brewery in the east end of Toronto. Sarabeth, who is Inuit from the community of Pangnirtung, Nunavut, was born in Halifax and raised between New Brunswick and Nunavut. She is also known for her delightful book, 'Benny the Bananasaurus Rex,' which captures the imagination of children everywhere.

This event is open to Indigenous Families and Caregivers with children 0-6, and their families only. Registration is limited first come first serve. Please register using the link in Ojibiikaans Bio bio https://linktr.ee/ojib
